Located in East Oakland, Canticle Farm is an intentional community and urban farm dedicated to restorative justice, education, and healing. The project involved the renovation and addition to "Brother Sun," an existing craftsman house that is part of the larger communal property. The scope included a completely new kitchen, bathroom, and master suite, thoughtfully designed to support the community's core values of service and simplicity. This renovation is integrated into a unique urban village where fences between multiple houses have been removed to create a unified, shared garden landscape.
